Giving Thanks…

As we begin to celebrate a day of Thanksgiving, we are mindful of the recent tragedies in our country and around the world. The brilliant Fall leaves and dazzling Autumn sunsets showcase the good fortune of some and mask the sadness of others. It is a time to gather friends and family close, to thank God for them and to count our blessings. It is a time to convey our deepest sympathies to those who lost lives, homes and loved ones. It is a time to express our heartfelt gratitude to the firefighters, law enforcement and to those serving in the military, who all protect our freedom and our fabled lifestyle. It is a time to show gratitude, compassion and respect to everyone and hope for a kinder, gentler future.
