Thunder end slide at Moda Center

Paul George scored 37 points and the Oklahoma City Thunder stopped a six-game losing streak to the Portland Trail Blazers with a 111-109 victory on Friday night.

Russell Westbrook added 31 points for the Thunder, who had also lost eight straight games at the Moda Center dating to February 2014.

Damian Lillard led the Trail Blazers with 23 points and eight assists.

The Thunder trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half but pulled in front late in the third quarter and pushed the lead to 10797 with just over 4 minutes to go on a basket by Westbrook, who scored 20 points in the second half.

Victor Oladipo made a threepoint­er from just above the top of the arc with 0.3 seconds left in overtime to give the Pacers their sixth straight victory, over the Bulls. Oladipo finished with 36 points and seven rebounds.

Karl-Anthony Towns had 29 points and 15 rebounds, and Jeff Teague added 23 points and 10 assists in his return to the Minnesota lineup in the Timberwolv­es’ comeback victory over the Magic.

Brooklyn 109, at Memphis 100:

D’Angelo Russell had 23 points and 10 assists, DeMarre Carroll added 20 points, including a season-high five three-pointers, and the Nets beat the Grizzlies.

at Boston 114, Dallas 93:

Gordon Hayward had 16 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, Jaylen Brown scored 21 points and the short-handed Celtics beat the Mavericks.

at Milwaukee 144, Atlanta 112:

Mike Budenholze­r’s first game against the team he coached for five seasons was no contest. Budenholze­r’s Bucks rolled to a 33point halftime lead and coasted to a victory over the Hawks for their fifth straight victory.

at Miami 115, Washington 109:

Hassan Whiteside scored 21 points and grabbed 18 rebounds, and the Heat moved over the .500 mark for the first time since late October with a victory over the Wizards.

Utah 117, at Cleveland 91:

Donovan Mitchell scored 18 points and the Jazz dominated the second half, sending the Cavaliers to their eighth straight loss.
