Rams’ Rath found not guilty

A Ventura County Superior Court jury found Ted Rath, the Rams’ director of strength training and performanc­e, not guilty of misdemeano­r sexual battery. Rath, 35, has been on leave from the Rams since mid-January, after he was charged with three misdemeano­r counts of sexual battery for an alleged June 2018 incident involving a woman he knew at her residence in Moorpark.

New York Jets tight end Chris Herndon was suspended without pay for the first four games next season for violating the league’s substance abuse policy . ... Oakland guard Richie Incognito was suspended for the first two games next season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
