A key American delegate at the World Anti-Doping Agency meetings in Katowice, Poland, lashed out at the agency’s director for using government money in hopes of reshaping U.S. legislatio­n designed to fight drugs in sports. Kendel Ehrlich of the U.S. Office of National Drug Control Policy called out efforts by WADA and the IOC to lobby for substantiv­e changes to the bill known as the Rodchenkov Act . ... Organizers said 3.57 million tickets have already been awarded to Japan residents in two lotteries for next year’s Olympics in Tokyo. UConn freshman guard James Bouknight received a three-game suspension over allegation­s he fled after crashing a car into a street sign near campus on Sept. 27. Police said he left the scene but later turned himself in.
