Pennsylvania 95, Long Beach State 79: Jordan Dingle had 19 of his 21 points in the second half as Penn topped Long Beach State in the Wooden Legacy on Sunday in Anaheim. Max Martz had 17 points for Penn, Devon Goodman added 16, 12 in the second half, and AJ Brodeur 11.

Providence 80, Pepperdine 77: A.J. Reeves and Nate Watson scored 15 points apiece and Providence narrowly beat Pepperdine in the Wooden Legacy. Alpha Diallo added 13 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Providence and David Duke scored 10 points.

at Loyola Marymount 61, Southern Utah 51: Parker Dortch came off the bench to score 17 points and knocked down eight of 11 shots from the floor for the Lions, who came in having lost four of their last five games. John Knight III had 13 points and five rebounds for the Thunderbirds.

WOMEN

No. 11 UCLA 73, at Virginia 62: Michaela Onyenwere had 27 points and 11 rebounds, Lauryn Miller also had a double-double and the Bruins outscored the Cavaliers 18-10 in the final period to go 2-0 in the Cavalier Classic. Jocelyn Willoughby led the Cavaliers with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
