Raptors’ win streak extends to 14 games

Fred VanVleet scored 10 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter, Pascal Siakam scored 20 points, including the tiebreakin­g free throw with 22 seconds remaining, and the Toronto Raptors extended their franchise-record winning streak to 14 by beating the Brooklyn Nets 119-118 on Saturday night.

Terence Davis scored 20 points in his first home start, Matt Thomas had a career-high 15 and Serge Ibaka added 12 as the Raptors overcame the absence of All-Star guard Kyle Lowry for their 10th consecutiv­e home victory over the Nets. Davis started for Lowry, who was inactive because of a whiplash injury caused by an accidental collision with Ibaka in the third quarter of Friday’s win at Indiana.

New York 95, at Detroit 92:

Julius Randle scored 17 points, including a bank shot with 13.5 seconds left that helped the Knicks secure their fourth straight victory.

New Orleans 124, at Indiana 117:

Jrue Holiday scored 14 of his 31 points in the final 2:26, including a go-ahead three-pointer, and the short-handed Pelicans prevailed. Despite not having top two scorers Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, the Pelicans handed the Pacers their fifth loss in a row.

Milwaukee 112, at Orlando 95:

Giannis Antetokoun­mpo nearly had a triple-double with 18 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists. The Bucks won for the 13th time in 14 games, improving the league’s best mark to 45-7 and staying on course to become just the third team to top 70 wins in a regular season.

Dallas 116, at Charlotte 100:

Seth Curry scored 26 points in his return to Charlotte, and the Mavericks cruised. Curry made his first 10 shots from the field, including six three-pointers to help the Mavericks snap a two-game losing streak.

Denver 117, at Phoenix 108:

Jamal Murray scored 36 points, Nikola Jokic added 23 and the Nuggets completed the season sweep against the Suns, winning all four games. Denver has won five of its past six games overall.

at Sacramento 122, San Antonio 102:

Buddy Hield scored 31 points in 32 minutes and connected on nine of 10 three-point shots to lead the Kings. He also had six rebounds and five assists. Harrison Barnes added 25 points.

at Minnesota 142, Clippers 115
