Khris Middleton scored Milwaukee’s final nine points, helping the Bucks outlast Bradley Beal and the host Washington Wizards 137-134 in overtime Monday night.

Middleton, who had 40 points, hit a three-pointer with 30.2 seconds remaining to give the Bucks a 135-132 lead.

After Beal — who had his second consecutive 50-point game — made two free throws, Middleton was fouled with 7.8 seconds left and hit both attempts from the line to make it 137-134. Troy Brown Jr.’s three-pointer missed at the buzzer.

Beal had a career-high 55 points one night after he scored 53 in a loss at Chicago. On the day of Kobe Bryant’s memorial service, Beal became the first player since Bryant in March 2007 to score 50-plus points on consecutive days.

“I was just locked in,” Beal said.
