Hatton prevails at tough Bay Hill

Tyrrell Hatton played bogey-free over the final seven holes at Bay Hill for a twoover-par 74 to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational by one stroke in Orlando, Fla.

It was Hatton’s fifth win worldwide and first on the PGA Tour. The Englishman, 28, edged second-place finisher Marc Leishman (73) on another day of blustery, brittle conditions. Hatton finished at four-under 284, one of only four players who beat par for the week.

Matt Fitzpatrick, with a final-round 69, was the only player to break 70 on the weekend.

Joey Logano raced to his second NASCAR Cup Series victory in three weeks, holding off Kevin Harvick over the final two laps after an overtime restart at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Ariz. Also the winner two weeks ago in Las Vegas, Logano has 25 career Cup victories.

Milwaukee forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has a minor knee sprain, the Bucks announced. The reigning NBA most valuable player missed the team’s loss Sunday at Phoenix and also will miss Monday night’s game at Denver.
