‘NBA 2K’ games pushed back

The NBA has told teams that they may not conduct or attend any workouts with draft-eligible players during the league’s coronavirus hiatus, a major change from typical procedures.

Carl Franklin, who coached NBA players Byron Scott and Elden Campbell at Inglewood Morningside High and spent more than 40 years as an educator, administrator and coach, died after a short illness, according to a family member. He was 74. — Eric Sondheimer
