Keselowski wins after late break

Brad Keselowski inherited his second win of the season when Chase Elliott and Joey Logano collided as they raced for the victory in the Supermarke­t Heroes 500 at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.

Keselowski was in third place with a lap and a turn left when he lucked into his second win in three NASCAR Cup Series races.

Keselowski got his first victory of the season last Sunday at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway. Elliott was roughly two laps away from the win when a caution flag flew. Keselowski inherited the lead when Elliott pitted and then held on to win.

Logano finished 21st on Sunday and Elliott 22nd.

Four young soccer players in Germany’s Bundesliga addressed the death of George Floyd in the U.S. with protests against police brutality and calls for justice over the weekend.

England’s 20-year-old winger Jadon Sancho, 21year-old Morocco right back Achraf Hakimi and 22-yearold French forward Marcus Thuram made statements on the field Sunday after the example Schalke’s American midfielder Weston McKennie, 21, set Saturday.

Sancho scored a hat trick in Borussia Dortmund’s 6-1 win at Paderborn. He removed his jersey after his first goal to reveal a T-shirt with “Justice for George Floyd” on the front.

Floyd, a handcuffed black man, died Monday after a white Minneapoli­s police officer, Derek Chauvin, pressed his knee for several minutes on his neck.

The College Football Hall of Fame was boarded up after a destructiv­e night of protests in Atlanta on Friday over Floyd’s death. Kimberly Beaudin, the Hall’s chief executive, said the building’s glass facade was shattered but “all of it can be repaired. We’re thankful.”

Bob Bennett, the winningest baseball coach in Fresno State history, died at 86. The Fresno Bee reported Bennett had been in the hospital after a heart procedure. ... Vanderbilt senior defensive analyst Osia Lewis died at 57 after a battle with cancer . ... Curtis Cokes, a Hall of Fame welterweig­ht, died at 82.
