Steelers................... 28 Texans ...................... 21
Pittsburgh put the clamps on Houston and quarterback Deshaun Watson in the second half to rally for a win that pushed it to 3- 0 for the first time in a decade. The Texans managed just 51 yards and two first downs in the final 30 minutes to fall to 0- 3.
“We didn’t blink, man,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said.
Houston gave up a decisive 12- play, 79yard touchdown drive that ended with James Conner’s 12- yard sprint to put Pittsburgh ahead 28- 21 with 6: 24 remaining.
“We’re a four- quarter team,” said Conner, who finished with 109 yards rushing.
