Steelers vs. Titans moved to Oct. 25

The NFL has reschedule­d the Pittsburgh- Tennessee game postponed from Sunday to Oct. 25 in Week 7, and the Steelers will play Baltimore on Nov. 1 as a result of the Titans’ latest COVID- 19 outbreak.

Tennessee had two more players test positive Friday, according to Associated Press, pushing the team’s total to 14 within the last week.

Officials from the league and the players’ union were in Nashville, meeting with the Titans and reviewing the way the team is handling the matter.

The NFL and the players’ union also agreed to continue daily testing, including bye weeks.

The New Orleans Saints ruled out top receiver Michael Thomas ( sprained ankle) and f ive other starters for Sunday: cornerback­s Marshon Lattimore ( hamstring) and Janoris Jenkins ( shoulder); tight end Jared Cook ( groin); left guard Andrus Peat ( ankle); and defensive end Marcus Davenport ( elbow/ toe). ... Quarterbac­k Jimmy Garoppolo will miss his second straight game for the San Francisco 49ers with a sprained ankle. ... Sam Darnold ( sprained right shoulder) could miss some time, New York Jets coach Adam Gase said, after Darnold was hurt in the first quarter Thursday night. ... Green Bay receiver Allen Lazard ( core) didn’t practice for a second straight day and coach Matt LaFleur talked about the likelihood of missing Lazard and Davante Adams ( hamstring) for Monday night. ... Las Vegas coach Jon Gruden said that receiver Bryan Edwards ( ankle/ foot) will be out Sunday and that fellow rookie Henry Ruggs III ( knee/ hamstring) is doubtful. ... The Seattle Seahawks will be without safety Jamal Adams ( groin) and cornerback Quinton Dunbar ( knee) for Sunday.

The Hawaii and Bahamas college football bowls were canceled by ESPN Events because of the pandemic and related travel restrictio­ns.
