Free to choose, with caveats

-

Re “Rush Limbaugh broke our politics,” letters, Feb. 21

A reader stated that Rush Limbaugh “described the difference between the left and the right simply: The left wants control, and conservatives advocate for freedom.”

Conservatives advocate for freedom of choice except when it comes to people’s most private and important decisions, such as which birth control they can use, what they can do with their body when pregnant, which people they can love and marry, and how much pain they must suffer at the end of life.
