Frank Lupo, 66, born in New York, passed away of non-covid-19 related ailments at home in Florida.

Frank was a prolific writer, creator and producer for several decades beginning in the late 1970’s. His Hollywood story began at a New York arts school when he was told TV was the promised land - off to L.A. At age 20 he was hired at Universal. Two days on the job, an early morning canteen encounter with Stephen J. Cannell, turned a coffee clutch into a lifelong friendship and collaboration. Their credits include The A-Team, Hunter, Walker, Wiseguy, Werewolf, and other good vs. evil dramas and comedies.

Frank’s boundless energy and a quick mind along with a great sense of humor propelled him in the industry as well as into many friendships. Finally retiring with his loving wife, Angel Petrulli Lupo to the sunshine of Florida, he figured that he had accomplished a great deal in life - he entertained the world with his creations.

Frank is survived by his Angel and many loving family and friends. There will be no services. If so inclined, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Frank to his favorite charities, City of Hope or Wounded Warrior Project. He will be missed and remembered.
