‘Greatest park in the world’
Re “A safer Griffith Park,” letters, April 23
I do not live near Griffith Park and have only visited the park once for a hike.
After reading all the letters and concerns about the danger of cars traveling through the park at high speeds — endangering hikers, cyclists, horse riders and others — it seems like the obvious solution would be to turn the park into the greatest park in the world by totally eliminating car travel through it, and renting e-bikes all around the base of the park.
I myself would spend the day at the park hiking, biking and picnicking, as would other visitors from outside L.A.
