MCINERNEY, Sr. Eugenia

October 12, 1927 - June 11, 2022

June 11, 2022 Sister Eugenia went home to God. Born in Co. Clare, Ireland, Sr. Eugenia entered the Sisters of St. Louis in 1946. After teaching two years in Ireland she came to the US in 1951. Beginning as teacher in Nativity, she went on to be principal in Holy Name of Mary, Our Lady of Malibu, and St. Antony Claret. In 1970 she became Novice Directress. Over the next 40 years, she served the Region as Secretary, Treasurer, Team Member, then Consultant, and Louisville High School as Business Manager.

She retired in 2011 and moved to Mary Health of the Sick in 2015. Funeral Mass is Wednesday, June 22, 2:00 pm, at St. Bernardine’s, 24410 Calvert St., Woodland Hills, 91367.
