Murray, Cardinals agree to a deal

Kyler Murray agreed to a long-term contract that will keep the quarterback with the Arizona Cardinals through the 2028 season.

ESPN reported that the contract announced Thursday could be worth $230.5 million, with $160 million guaranteed.

Arizona went 5-10-1 during Murray’s rookie season in 2019 but the Cardinals improved to 11-6 last season before losing to the Rams in the NFC wild-card round.
