28th National Photographic Art Exhibition underway in Zhejiang
The 28th National Photographic Art Exhibition is currently underway in Linhai City of east China's Zhejiang Province, displaying nearly 300 works both online and offline. For the first time in its 65-year history, the event contains online exhibitions with the assistance of VR and other technologies this year.
A total of 298 pieces of works were selected for the exhibitions from more than 100,000 across the country, covering the fields of documentary, art, creativity and business, as well as multimedia.
The exhibition this year has seen an increase in the number of multimedia works, and many works reflect life of the grassroots.
"It took me over three years to take the photos for my work, which contains more than 200 figures. I took many photos of the fishermen and combined them with pictures of the ancient city wall. So this work reflects the ordinary life of the working people and their happiness amid the development towards common prosperity. Everything in the work comes from real life," said Yan Jinsong, a photographer having one work on display at the exhibition.
