Ko, Vu in hunt at Scottish Open

Lydia Ko shot a second straight seven-under 65 to lead by two strokes after two rounds of the Scottish Open, while former UCLA standout Lilia Vu, chasing her first LPGA win, was second after a 67.

Vu said she felt at home on the links, which remind her of her home club, Shady Canyon in Irvine.

Henrik Stenson had a happy return to golf after being removed as European Ryder Cup captain, making eight birdies in his LIV Golf Invitation­al debut at Bedminster, N.J., for a seven-under 64 to share the 18-hole lead with Patrick Reed. The tour also announced Bubba Watson will play on it next year . ... Taylor Pendrith shot a seven-under 65 to take a one-shot lead over Tony Finau into the weekend in the Rocket Mortgage Classic . ...
