This engaging article misses an opportunity to explore why Mexico City hasn’t better protected its own historic neighborhoods or imposed limits on shortterm rentals, or why the minimum wage in Mexico remains abysmally low.
That Mexico City has become the choice of digital nomads from the U.S. is interesting, but not enough to explain the discontent of everyday Mexicans.
