Meyer rejoining Fox’s ‘Big Noon’

Urban Meyer is returning to Fox’s “Big Noon Saturday” college football pregame show after his NFL coaching career lasted less than one full season.

Fox announced Friday that Meyer would rejoin the show that he was part of in its first two seasons.

Mac Jones completed a 45-yard pass to set up a touchdown in his first preseason action, Tristian Vizcaino hit a 51-yard, go-ahead field goal in the fourth quarter, and the host New England Patriots beat the Carolina Panthers 20-10 . ... Jordan Love completed 12 of 24 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown to lead the host Green Bay Packers to a 20-10 preseason win over the New Orleans Saints.

Clippers reveal preseason slate

The Clippers will play four preseason games, including two in Seattle, to begin their 2022-23 season.

Previously, the team had announced only one game of its preseason slate: a matchup against Portland in Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena on Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. To begin their stay in Seattle, the Clippers also will face Maccabi Ra’anana of Israel on Sept. 30. The Clippers finish their preseason with games Oct. 9 against Minnesota at Crypto.com Arena, at 7:30 p.m., and Oct. 12 against Denver at Ontario’s Toyota Arena, the home of the team’s G League affiliate.
