Born November 3, 1933, died August 28, 2022 at home. The daughter of Helen and Morton Becker of Los Angeles. “Mick”, (to friends and family), graduated Phi Beta Kappa UCLA with a Masters Degree in Economics. She was employed by the Federal Government, (SSA/OHA) for 39 1/2 years. At the age of 42 she return to Law School and graduated first in her class and passed the California State Bar and became the Supervisor­y Staff Attorney for writing legal decisions for Social Security cases and was awarded two Social Security commission­er’s citations. Outstandin­g in her vocation and outstandin­g in her social life.

Quoting one of her friends, “Mickey was such a vital member & leader of our AAUW Pasadena Branch for so many years ..... ”. In 1975, she met the man of her life, Malcolm Potter, for 46 years of marital happiness. She was stepmother to four children, Sean, David, Michael and Kelly, who adored her as “Mama Mick.” She leaves behind her sister Stephane Rollins and Brother-In-Law Paul Rollins, a niece Madeleine Sargent and Jared Sargent, nephew Halen Sceili, and one Daughter-In-Law and three Stepgrand children. A memorial service will be held on September 24th from 4PM til 7PM. Rest In Peace Mick, we miss you!
