Colts fire Reich and choose Saturday as interim coach
The Indianapolis Colts fired coach Frank Reich after another lackluster offensive performance in the team’s third straight loss.
The Colts announced the move Monday, one day after they went 0 for 14 on third down and totaled just 121 yards of offense in an ugly 26-3 loss at New England.
Indianapolis hired former All-Pro center Jeff Saturday as interim coach.
Reich led the Colts to the playoffs in two of his first four seasons. Saturday’s only coaching experience came at a Georgia high school.
