One of the NBA’s early great Europeans, the 7-1 center from Serbia played the first seven seasons and the last of his 16-year career with the Lakers. The all-rookie selection, who played in one All-Star game after he was traded for Kobe Bryant’s draft rights in 1996, averaged 12.2 points and 8.5 rebounds, shooting 50.2% from the field for L.A. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019.
