The 6-11 big man, who left college early to play in the ABA, was drafted by the Lakers in 1973 and then traded soon after to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Upon rejoining the Lakers in 1979, he played all 82 games in each of his two seasons with the team, averaging 10.7 points and 7.5 rebounds and providing a solid frontcourt partner with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar during the 1980 title run.
