Coen rejoins Kentucky’s staff

Liam Coen, the Rams’ offensive coordinator this season, is returning to Kentucky as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, the school announced.

Terms were not disclosed, but Coen, 37, was expected to receive a lucrative multiyear contract to again call plays for the Wildcats.

Coen was a Rams assistant, coaching receivers and then quarterbacks, for three seasons before he joined Kentucky’s staff ahead of the 2021 season. Last February, Rams coach Sean McVay rehired him as offensive coordinator after Kevin O’Connell left to coach the Minnesota Vikings.
