Miller to have spitting hearing

New York Rangers defenseman K’Andre Miller will have a hearing with the NHL’s department of player safety for spitting at Kings defenseman Drew Doughty.

The league announced that Miller would have a hearing for unsportsmanlike conduct. It was not immediately clear when the hearing would take place.

Miller was given a match penalty and ejected during the Rangers’ 5-2 win Sunday in New York.
