What performance or film has moved you this season?

“The documentary that Ethan Hawke made about Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. It was called ‘The Last Movie Stars.’ I’ve been circling the idea of directing a documentary, and that’s a similar world [to mine]. I’m the daughter of two movie stars [Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis]. There was something about the synchronicity of the work I’m considering doing, and seeing colleagues of my parents, and hearing the family aspect of it.”
