Kansas secures share of Big 12 crown
Jalen Wilson scored 21 points in his Allen Fieldhouse farewell, fellow senior Kevin McCullar Jr. had 14 points and nine rebounds, and third-ranked Kansas held off Texas Tech 67-63 on Tuesday night in Lawrence, Kan., to clinch a share of the Big 12 Conference regularseason championship.
The Jayhawks (25-5, 13-4) would capture the outright crown if ninth-ranked Texas loses at No. 22 Texas Christian on Wednesday night. Otherwise, the Jayhawks would need to beat the Longhorns in a showdown Saturday in Austin.
No. 6 Marquette 72, at Butler 56: Tyler Kolek had 21 points and 10 assists, and the Golden Eagles (24-6, 16-3) clinched their first outright Big East title by beating the Bulldogs (14-16, 6-13).
at No. 12 Tennessee 75, Arkansas 57:
Olivier Nkamhoua scored 16 points to lead the Volunteers (22-8, 11-6 Southeastern Conference) past the Razorbacks (19-11, 8-9). Tennessee guard Zakai Zeigler suffered a knee injury and did not return.
Iowa 90, at No. 15 Indiana 68:
Kris Murray scored 26 points, Tony Perkins flirted with a triple-double, and the Hawkeyes (19-11, 11-8 Big Ten Conference) routed the Hoosiers (20-10, 11-8).
Perkins had 23 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Trayce Jackson Davis led Indiana with 26 points and 13 rebounds and became the school’s career rebounding leader with 1,096.
at Boise State 66, No. 18 San Diego State 60:
Max Rice scored 26 points and reeled off 12 straight points during a 14-0 run to close out the game, and the Broncos (23-7, 13-4 Mountain West Conference) beat the Aztecs (23-6, 14-3). San Diego State already had claimed a share of the conference crown.

The group that puts on the Holiday Bowl is branching out with a college basketball tournament that will feature an inaugural field of USC, Oklahoma, Seton Hall and Iowa during the Thanksgiving holiday at UC San Diego. ... Alabama coach Nate Oats apologized for allowing freshman Brandon Miller to continue performing a mock pat-down during pregame introductions and said it won’t continue. Miller is a cooperating witness in a case against a former teammate charged with murder.
