RONALD KRIEGER

October 21, 1941 – January 27, 2024

Ronnie Krieger was born in Los Angeles to Herbert Lawrence and Molly Matloff Krieger and passed away in Brandon, Mississipp­i, at the family home, in hospice care. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry. Ronnie is survived by his wife of ten years, Sandra Williams Young Krieger, stepdaught­er Catherine Young Hagerty, (Michael) and his granddaugh­ter, Claire Jennifer Hagerty, sister Maureen Krieger Jester (Jamie), niece Rebecca Elizabeth Jester, nephews Bryan Elliot Jester (Clea) and Alexander Scott Jester (Shannon) and great nephew and great nieces.

After graduating Beverly Hills High school in 1959, where he excelled on the golf team, Ronnie entered the Army Reserves. Completing his service, he entered the University of Southern California earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business in 1964, and in 2001 received his Master of Science Degree in Taxation.

He began his business career at Sunbeam Lighting Co. and he later formed a constructi­on company in partnershi­p with his brother, Larry. In 2018 he retired as CFO from Consolidat­ed West Distributi­ng Company.

Ronnie never met a stranger. His legacy is one of kindness, fierce loyalty, unfailing love of family, warm humor, and an incredible laugh that no one will ever forget! We are blessed to have known him.

A celebratio­n of Ronnie’s life will be held at

First United Methodist Church, 1008 11th Street, Santa Monica, Friday, March 8, 2024, 1:00 pm. Church parking is available at the parking structure across the street.
