The Los Gatos Town Council took several actions at its March 1 regular meeting to help move forward the proposed connector project between
Los Gatos Creek Trail and Highway 9. Councilmembers unanimously voted to commit up to $1 million in town funds, in addition to accepting and applying for multiple grants. The total cost of the project is just under $6 million.
The project will make the Los Gatos Creek Trail more accessible to bicyclists and pedestrians from Highway 9. Plans include a switchback ramp on the north side of the highway and another ramp on the southside, giving access to a new bridge over the creek.
