Farmers' markets feature bounty of summer produce

-

Everyone loves a farmers' market. And the corn, peaches and tomatoes are just killer right now, so don't miss out on the bounty. VMC Foundation initially launched a farmers' market back in 2013, under the leadership of thenexecutive director Chris Wilder, on the campus of Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (with the help of the Health Trust). After a twoyear hiatus, current executive director Michael Elliott says the market is returning at the newly completed Renova Park in the heart of the medical center's campus. The market should run Wednesdays through November.

Speaking of Wednesday markets, the Santana Row Farmer's Market is in full swing Wednesdays, 4-8 p.m., between Olin Avenue and Olsen Drive.
