A shout out to Cory Gardner

I have the pleasure of ser ving as the executive director of SAGE, a Colorado advisor y group that connects business leaders who ser ve as mentors and advisers to Colorado entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs hope to build star tup companies in Colorado and bring new jobs to our economy.

I want to give Cory Gardner a shout out for his leadership in leading the passage of the American Innovation and Competitiveness Act, a bipar tisan piece of legislation that helped maximize basic scientific research, that improved opportunities for under-represented groups in STEM, and that encouraged commercialization and technology transfer of university led research.
