Current school board is doing what’s best for all students

Why did I vote for Amy Doran, Jarrett Roberts, Alexandra Lessem and Barb Kruse?

It’s simple! Because I have sat back and observed and studied the candidates from Day 1.

CASB Handbook: “Board members must represent all students and the decisions they make must be made in the interest of the total school system and not made solely for special groups or interests.”

The anti-mask candidates and supporters just won’t accept that. I have observed their behavior and their personal and vicious attacks on teachers and current board members by both them and their supporters at board meetings. It is childish, juvenile behavior!

As happened in 2013 and 2015, we are hearing the nomandate candidates insult our schools. Now again we hear Rumfelt, Vicino, Law and Winbourn say TSD is failing and that they will go through the budget line by line and eliminate waste. None of them has any understanding of the complexities involved in school finance laws. Outstanding administrators who are recognized for their financial and leadership management skills are hired to do this.

Please know that TSD and the current board are doing what is best for all students every single day. I truly believe that.
