Halloween Tours

Halloween Tours of the 1879 Avery House will be offered at 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the historic house at 328 W. Mountain Ave.

Jump over a broomstick and learn about why bobbing for apples was so important to Victorians, just how trick-or-treating as we know it came about, and many other tidbits during special Halloween-themed evening tours of the Avery House.

Tours begin every half hour. Guests should check in at the Carriage House before starting their tour.

Tickets are $10 and include hot apple cider and a piece of pie. Reserve tickets in advance at poudrelandmarks.org.

Masks are required inside the Avery House.
