Al-anon Family Groups is a 12step program to provide help with experience, strength and hope for friends and families of problem drinkers. Meetings are now in person in Loveland and Berthoud. Alcoholics Anonymous, a free 12-step program normally meets seven days a week at various locations around Loveland. Members are advised to call 224-3552 or visit northcolor­adoaa.org to learn more.

Depression/bipolar Peer Support Group, a peer drop-in support group that provides a safe place for adults 18 and over with mood disorders, is meeting in person on the first and third Thursday at 6:30-8 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 815 E. 16th St., Loveland. Loveland Fishing Club, a group that supports a variety of fishing opportunit­ies and improves Northern Colorado outdoor resources is meeting the third Tuesday of each month, 2-3:30 p.m. at the Chilson Senior Center, 700 E. Loveland Mountain Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Grace Community Church, 240 Barberry Place, Loveland, located off 14th Street Southwest, east of Taft Avenue and West of U.S. 287. Bill Ciesla, a master gardener and entomologi­st who is retired from a career with the U.S. Forest Service, will offer a presentati­on on pollinatin­g insects. Enter on the east side, next to the main entrance, and masks will be required. The club also is still hosting hikes. Hike participan­ts must sign the Loveland Mountain Club Waiver of Liability. Narcotics Anonymous, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Unity Club, 102 E. Third St., Loveland. Masks required. A 12-step program for individual­s who want to recover from drug addiction. No dues or fees. The only requiremen­t for membership is the desire to stop using. Other meetings are every day of the week in the Loveland area. The local meeting schedule is at otwna.org.

Qualified Listeners, a veteran and family resource hub serving Northern Colorado and southern Wyoming, continues to support veterans and families. Any veteran or family member needing assistance and feeling stuck because everyone else has told them no, is encouraged to call. The group is a resource hub that will listen to individual­s’ needs and align them with vetted resources that can assist in both VA and non-va related issues to help reduce stress, lessen anxiety and restore hope.
