Adults age 18 and older are invited to register for Adobe Photoshop Part 1, set for 2 p.m. Saturday in the ilearn Classroom at the library, 300 N. Adams Ave. The first of the three part series will discuss the Photoshop workspace, how to correct and enhance photos as well as how to add artistic features to photos. Microsoft Powerpoint Espanol will take place at 5 p.m. Monday in the ilearn Classroom at the library, 300 N. Adams Ave. The program will teach adults age 18 and older the basic concepts of Powerpoint, including slides, adding photos and more. College bound teens and adults can consult with an advisor from Aims Community College or Front Range Community College from 1-5p.m. Tuesday at the library, 300N. Adams Ave. Appointments are required to participate in the program and can be done by emailing libraryteenservices@cityofloveland.org.
The Book Chat club will be meeting at 4:30p.m. Tuesday
at the library, 300N. Adams Ave. The club, open to teens ages 11-17, allows participants to talk about some of the books they’ve recently read with teen librarians. The Loveland Cookbook Group Podcast and Recipe Kit will be available all day Thursday at the library, 300 N. Adams Ave. Ashlee Redger and Daniel will discuss March’s cookbook group title and feature recipe for masa focaccia. Kids ages 5-11interested in learning how to play chess are invite to attend the library’s Chess Club for Kids at 4 p.m. Thursday at 300 N. Adams Ave. Attendees will learn the rules and strategies of the game while meeting other youngsters interested in the game. Registration is not required to attend. The Teen Advisory Board is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. Thursday at the library, located at 300 N. Adams Ave. Middle and high school students participating in the advisor board will help plan programs, develop the library’s young adult collection and create a safe and welcoming space for their peers.
