Cold brew industry pioneer Toddy announced this week that the Loveland-based company’s cold brew products will become available in more than 3,800 Walmart stores around the U.S. and online via Walmart.com as they company has become a Walmart supplier.

”By joining one of the world’s largest retailers, Toddy brings the cafe-quality full immersion cold brew process into the homes of new cold brew Diyers — and helps dedicated cold brew enthusiasts readily restock their supplies when needed,” the company said in a news release.

Toddy has collaborated with Walmart to develop and debut a brand-new cold brew coffee maker, the Toddy® Essential Brewer, that will be available exclusively at Walmart stores and at Walmart.com.

The new product will allow coffee enthusiasts to brew exceptional cold brew concentrate at home, the release stated.

Made from Bpa-free plastic, the brewer can make up to 38 ounces of smooth-drinking concentrate from a single batch.

”The environmentally friendly Essential Brewer uses proprietary cold brew paper filters, which are key to minimizing sediment in the brew,” the release added.

Once brewing is complete, a simple lever opens the drain to fill the included pitcher with the cold brew concentrate, which can then be diluted to each individual’s preferred strength in a range of coffee beverages. Cold brew concentrate can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, the release said.

Walmart also will sell replacement 20-packs of Toddy Paper Filter Bags, which are compatible with both the Toddy® Essential Brewer and the Toddy® Cold Brew System, the brand’s flagship home brewer.

“The opportunity to get our cold brewers in front of our friends and families around the U.S. has been an exciting and gratifying experience,” Toddy President Julia Leach said.
