Five join staff at Northern Engineering
Northern Engineering, a 36-year-old firm headquartered in Fort Collins, recently announced a round of hiring that will support the firm’s civil engineering and surveying practice, according to a news release.
Marek Klonowski will be a senior project manager, and also will be responsible for mentoring and career development. Marek is a licensed civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in commercial, residential subdivisions, multi-family, industrial, intermodal facilities, airports, municipal engineering, and transportation.
Ryan Banning will return to the team as a municipal project manager. He worked for the firm for seven years before a threeyear hiatus. As a licensed civil engineer with 17 years of experience, he will focus on serving the firm’s public works clients as well as assisting with cross-departmental quality control, training, and mentoring.
Jacob O’banion has joined as a civil engineer. He has experience in hydrologic modeling, inspection and geotechnical engineering for commercial, residential and transportation projects.
Tharen Helgerson has joined as a survey project manager. Helgerson is a licensed land surveyor with over 22 years of experience in all types of surveys, and also will be responsible for developing and mentoring the survey team.
Voneen Macklin has joined as a senior project coordinator. Macklin has over 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, and will be responsible for ensuring Northern Engineering’s projects are running smoothly through administrative process management, workflow coordination and scheduling.
Northern Engineering has served Northern Colorado communities since 1987, with civil engineering and land surveying services.
