While the Greeley Stampede is the big show in town for the next 12 days, there’s still plenty of other events and activities taking place in and around Weld and Larimer counties.

This week’s list of Go+do events includes a family field day, a Scandinavi­an Midsummer festival, lots of live music and more for all ages.

4. Join the Red, White and Brew race at 8 a.m. Saturday at Boardwalk Park, 100 N. Fifth St. in Windsor. The event features two different race options — a 5K and a 10K- as well as a beer garden, free kids run, food trucks, live music, activities for the kids and more. 5. Celebrate the middle of summer at the Estes Park Midsummer Festival from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m at Bond Park, 170 Macgregor Ave. The festival will offer attendees the opportunit­y to enjoy a Scandinavi­an market, food, live entertainm­ent, a beer garden and more. 6. Learn about tiny living at the 2023 Colorado Tiny House Festival at 10

a.m. at Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Road, Brighton. The festival will showcase a variety of different tiny homes including yurts, container homes, bus and van conversion­s and more. 9. Join local artist Armando Silva for a reading of his new children’s book, “What Happened to My Paletas?” at 6 p.m. at The Midnight Oil Bookstore, 827 10th St., Greeley. Silva’s book is inspired by Delta Park and was made possible by Unite for Literacy and the city of Greeley. All ages are welcome to attend and children can receive free paletas as supplies last. Comedy Showcase presents Eeland Stribling at 9 p.m. at 802 Ninth St., Greeley. Host Jared Chandler will keep the laughs rolling with opening performanc­es from Robbie Kumeo and Nick Holland.
