LOVELAND
Celtic Trio
Celtic Events presents Irish fiddler Kevin Burke and longtime friends and musical collaborators Nuala Kennedy and Eamon O’ Leary in concert at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Rialto Theater Center, 228 E. Fourth St.
Burke is known for traditional Irish music. He was awarded a National Heritage Fellowship in the United States and, in Ireland, the prestigious Gradam Ceoil Award.
He will be accompanied by Kennedy on flutes, whistles and vocals and O’leary on guitar, bouzouki and vocals.

Loveland Concert Band
The Loveland Concert Band will present its annual scholarship drive concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at Sue E. Wall Auditorium, Mountain View High School, 3500 Mountain Lion Drive.
The concert theme is “Sugar Free Suites.” Three small groups, Exquisite Brass, Colorado Brass Company and Rocky Mountain High School Bass quintet, will perform with the band.
The annual scholarship drive concert funds the Findling-gleichman-smith-anderson memorial scholarship, which is given to a senior from Thompson School District.
The concert is free, but donations will be accepted.

Spring Holistic Fair
The 23rd annual Spring Holistic Fair will take place at 10 a.m-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10, at the First National Bank Exhibition Hall at The Ranch, 5280 Arena Circle.
Explore alternative choices for taking care of the body, mind, spirit and the environment. The event includes astrology, tarot, palmistry, clairvoyant readings, aura portraits, psychic development classes and other intuitive arts.
Admission is $10 for a day or $15 for the weekend. Kids 12 and under are free. Parking is free. Get a $1 discount by donating two canned food or nonperishable items for the Food Bank of Larimer County.

Encountering a Poet
An Encountering a Poet program on Charles Simic will take place at 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 9, at the Loveland Public Library, 300 N. Adams Ave.
Poet Chloe Leisure will present the workshop exploring Simic’s poetry.
The workshop is open for all ages and all levels.

FORT COLLINS New Horizons Band
Northern Colorado New Horizons Band will present its spring ensembles concert at 3-4 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at First United Methodist Church, 1005 Stover St.
The program will feature woodwinds, saxophones, flutes, clarinets, trumpets, handbells and a Dixieland band.
The concert is free, but donations are appreciated.

Dena Blizzard
Dena Blizzard will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St.
Dena Blizzard’s new show “I Love You, Get Away From Me!” is a three-generation comedy show about finding the funny in life’s transitions with Dena’s mom, Diana, and her son, Dean. Whether it’s becoming a widow at 75, divorcing and empty nesting at 50 or trying to act like a grown up at 23…there’s plenty to laugh (or cry) about.

’Fiesta!’
”Fiesta!” will showcase songs from Benise’s seventh PBS special at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St.
Benise performs classic rock anthems from Led Zeppelin and AC/ DC and fuses them with Spanish guitar and dance. In addition, he adds his signature touch to classics such as “Ave Maria,” “Moonlight Sonata” and Vivaldi’s “Summer.” Tickets are $29-$49.

‘Is Peace Possible?’
Buddhist Monk Gen-la Kelsang Jampa will give a talk on “Is Peace Possible?,” on how people can realistically find peace, both in our hearts and our world, at 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, March 11, at Bas Bleu Theatre, 401 Pine St.
The monk is known for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving kindness.
Everyone is welcome. Admission is $20 for general admission and $10 for students and Heruka Kadampa Meditation Center members.
