LOVELAND Harlem Globetrott­ers

The Harlem Globetrott­ers will play at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the Blue Arena, 5290 Arena Circle.

Moms Unhinged

Zikr Dance Ensemble

GPS Egg Hunt

Loveland Parks and Recreation will offer an egg hunt adventure solving clues and using GPS units to find the eggs in three sessions at 10-11:30 a.m., noon-1:30 p.m. and 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at North Lake Park, Taft Avenue and 29th Street.

There may be additional challenges along the way.

New Horizons Band

Northern Colorado New Horizons Band will present its “Swing into Spring” jazz concert at 7 p.m. Friday, March 15, at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 2919 N. Wilson

The concert will feature the New Horizons Swing Big Band and the Greyrock Jazz Band.

St. Patrick’s Day

Wildfire Talk

The Loveland Parks and Open Lands Department will continue its Winter Lecture Series with a talk about wildfire by certified interpreti­ve guide Eldon Grimm at 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the Chilson Senior Center, 700 E. Fourth St.

Wildfires are part of the natural sequence of life in both prairie and forest environmen­ts, but over the last several years they have become more frequent and more destructiv­e.

Grimm will discuss whether fires today are more severe than in the past and, if so, are there historic and current causes of this phenomenon? Are there lessons from the past that can be used to minimize the chances of similar situations in the future? The program is free. ‘Blarney on the Block’

The “Blarney on the Block” St. Patrick’s Day celebratio­n will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, on downtown Greeley’s Ninth Street Plaza, with the fourblock parade starting at 2:30 p.m.

The Blarney Parade will feature the bagpipes and drums of The Northern Colorado Caledonia Pipe Band.

Mcteggart Irish Dancers will perform from 2 p.m. until the parade starts. Following the parade there will be more live music from The Northern Colorado Caledonia Pipe Band on the plaza at 3 p.m.

The Irish pub band Keep Britain Irish will perform at 4 p.m..

‘¡Pleibol!’

The Smithsonia­n Institutio­n Traveling Exhibition Service’s exhibit “¡Pleibol! In the Barrios and the Big Leagues / En los barrios y las grandes ligas” will be at the Greeley History Museum, 714 Eighth St., Saturday, March 16, through Oct. 5.

Learn about the history and culture of Latinos and their impact on American culture and society through the lens of baseball.
