Loveland is not a circus; it’s dangerous

- By Bill Jensen

My lawsuit (Jensen v. Loveland City Council) to rectify my denied rights, was dismissed last Friday. After the judge gave my rival a tip, the court granted a dismissal motion on a mere technicality. Regardless, it audaciously imposed a procedural rule upon my lawful rights, which are held in the statutes. The court would not open my case or adjudicate its merits. I’m under legal advice that an appeal would not be frivolous.

The merits are public records, and they substantiate that the Centerra South Urban Renewal Area was crafted darkly and in a felonious manner. Then, it was rubber-stamped at an improper public hearing. I carefully showed that my rights have been denied. And I showed the court that the statutes offer a proper relief for this violation.

But now my dead lawsuit is being picked through for ammunition to create mayhem on the City Council. Tonight, Councilor Troy Krenning’s handpicked “special counsel” will denigrate my recent legal efforts to launch a political attack against residual elements of the promcwhinney team. The same evidence that the judge won’t look at is the same material being used to promote individual

power.

Other lawsuits are still pending. None of them take issue with our lawful rights. These sideshows and attacks are designed to advance political power and enormous profits; Loveland’s residents are being exploited by the few.

Don’t believe this new council is different or shows us any deference. In the middle of the night, they canceled their own Centerra South rescission. They got played, according to Krenning’s handpicked legal team. No one really cares about our lawful rights or about the public servants who abuse their offices and who collude with City Hall officials; the public records exist.

Regardless, they don’t fight for us because politics is only about personal power.

Loveland is not a joke. Loveland is not a circus. Loveland is dangerous.

Bill Jensen is a Loveland resident who ran for City Council in 2019. He has filed two lawsuits over the council’s approval of Centerra South.
