Asie Gerrod Pilgram known as “Big Pil ” was born on October 18, 1984, the youngest son to Asie and Loretta Pilgram.

Asie grew up in Malvern and attended Malvern Public Schools. He was apart of the Malvern Leopards football team and the marching band. Asie graduated in the Class of 2003 from Malvern High School. He later attended Ouachita Technical College.

As a child and throughout his teenage years, Asie attended Calvary

Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor J.W. Harrison.

Asie loved and acknowledg­e God until his last breath. Growing up, Asie had plenty of family and friends to hang around. He lived a life laughing, joking and just being around people who loved him unconditio­nally. Asie loved his family and his only son Asie Jhavae. He always had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room. Asie was our “Big Teddy Bear.”

Asie will be missed by family, friends, classmates and loved ones but he will always be remembered and always be forever loved. Asie is proceeded in death by his father Asie Pilgram Jr.; brother: Rodney Pilgram; grandmothe­r: Zelma Clanahan and Grandparen­ts: Asie and Lillian Pilgram Sr.; four Uncles and one Aunt.

Asie precious memories will forever live in the hearts of his mother Loretta Pilgram of Malvern, AR.; son: Asie Jhavae Pilgram IV; sister: Alisha (Lavon) Chatman of Hot Springs, AR. and a host of other family.
