- Special to MDR by Robert Coon

The campaign to re-elect State Supreme Court Justice Rhonda Wood today announced that it raised $51,700 in the month of December and is currently sitting on more than $124,000 cash on hand for the May election.

“The significant financial support received by the campaign, in only a 30-day period, demonstrates the high degree of trust, confidence, and respect that Arkansans have for Justice Wood as a member of the Arkansas Supreme Court,” said Robert Coon, spokesperson and Finance Chair for the campaign. “Justice Wood enters 2022 in a strong position for re-election and over the coming months will continue to highlight the hard working, conservative values she brings to the state’s highest court.”

Justice Wood stated in response, “I am humbled by the support and look forward to continue serving Arkansas as I begin my 16th year on the judicial bench. It has been an unimaginable honor to work daily to protect the justice system preserve our constitutional rights.”
