On Thursday, April 28, 2022, the Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 2807 Balding Rd.

Deputies began an investigation earlier this month, which led to Sgt. Susan Turner obtained a search warrant for the residence on the eastern edge of Hot Spring County.

At approximately 11 a.m. Thursday, deputies executed the search warrant at the residence and detained four suspects. The residence was searched, and approximately 22 grams or ¾ of an ounce of a substance tested positive as methamphetamine was recovered from persons and concealed with the residence, along with scales, baggies, and paraphernalia.

Bobby Everett, 59, and Michele Everett, 53, were arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In a separate incident, Alex Jason Booth, 35, of Malvern, was also arrested.

Deputies conducted surveillance of a residence in the North Malvern area and reportedly observed Booth operating a vehicle that returned with a fictitious license plate, and a traffic stop was initiated.

Booth was determined to have an outstanding parole violation warrant for possession with purpose to deliver meth/ cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and manufacturing methamphetamine. The suspect reportedly was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and the 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe was determined to be stolen from Little Rock.

Booth is currently incarcerated in Hot Spring County Detention Center on mandatory appearance, no-bond warrant, and awaits formal charges of theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance .
