Milburn Clifford Phipps SR, 90 of Hot Springs, went to be with his Lord on May 2, 2022. Milburn was born December 17, 1931 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas to Laney Phipps and Maggie Southerlan­d. Milburn was a very dedicated member and Deacon of New Beginnings Baptist Church of Malvern, he enjoyed fishing, trains, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Milburn is preceded in death by his parent, a brother; Laney E. Phipps, late wife; Bernice Phipps.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 20 years Dorothy M. Phipps, children; Milburn C. Phipps JR (Regena) and Patricia B. Phipps Thomas (James), grandchild­ren; Allen Kirtley, Robert Kirtley, Casey Phipps (Morgan), Kimberly Diaz (Chris).

The family is very grateful for the care and support of both Kindred Hospice and the Arkansas Veterans Associatio­n.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 6:00 PM at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Service following at 7:00 PM. Internment will take place on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Pinecrest Memorial Park starting at 11:00 AM. New Beginnings Baptist Church will hold a meal for the Family at 1:00 PM.
