The Antichrist And The False Prophet, who are they?
The Antichrist will be the world’s political dictator of the last days.
The Scripture declares... And power was given him over all kindred, and tongues, and nations. Rev 13:7. The Antichrist will be a man whom Satan will fill to such an extent, that he will be Satan incarnate. This is why apostle Paul calls him the man of sin, and the son of perdition. 2 Thess 2:3.
The chief religious figure in the world during the Tribulation years is identified in Scripture as the False Prophet.
He will be influential in religious affairs, empowered by Satan, having authority delegated to him as he promotes the worship of the Antichrist.
The authenticity of this ministry will be demonstrated by signs and wonders (simply technological advances capable of producing false signs and wonders), successfully deceiving the unbelieving world. He will promote idolatrous worship and possess the power of death, through execution of those against his authority.
He will possess authority over commerce, specifically, the Babylonian commerce system. He will have an identifying physical mark.
While you and I live in a time of the spirit of antichrist, and many false prophets; the Tribulation saints will know specifically who both individuals are. Their only defense against the False Prophet and the Antichrist will be the Word of God.
This is why Satan is rapidly encouraging the rewriting of the Word of God, and busily creating new versions of the bible which are false. The false prophet will lead the world through use of a false bible, and unwitting people, lacking spiritual discernment, will think they’re following God. They will be led to believe that they do God service by killing those converted to Christianity during the tribulation.
Currently, there are over 450 false versions of the Bible in America alone, each one had to change 4,000 words to not violate copyright laws.
This is why The Jesus Chapel Bible College uses only and expressly the KJV Bible, and will not use false Bibles.
Even today, Christians are only at their best when they rely upon sound doctrine from the authentic Bible - God’s Word. This is why Satan is attacking and changing God’s Word at a rapid pace, in preparation for the abomination of desolation spoken of in the book of Daniel.
The second Beast of Revelation (Rev 13:1118), is a person who will manifest himself shortly before the second coming of Christ.
He will be an impressive miracle worker and during the Tribulation period, he will bring fire down from heaven (the 2nd heaven) and with commanding technological deceptions and abilities, will persuade the masses to worship the image of the Beast (Rev. 11:15; 13:16-17).
Jesus gave telling words about false prophets in Matt. 24:24, warning that in the last days many false prophets would arise and deceive, if possible, even the elect. This means that many false prophets would be present on the earth prior to the rapture, as the elect will be present on earth at that time. False prophets with their masterful use of false doctrine easily influence people away from the biblical mandate of God’s Word, namely, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Examples of modern-day false prophets are Joseph Smith (Mormonism), Charles Taze Russell (Jehovah’s Witnesses), Mary Baker Eddy (Christian Science), the Pope (Roman Catholicism), etc. Each of them foster a false gospel sufficient to cause damnation. Our only sufficiency necessary to expose false prophets and their teaching is the Word of God and the direct influence of the Holy Spirit.
