Fatal car crash on Highway 270

A head- on collision on the 7000 block of Highway 270 near Rockport left one deceased and four injured Wednesday, May 11. According to a report by the Arkansas State Police, the crash occured at 10: 47 p. m. when an eastbound vehicle “crossed the centerline into oncoming westbound traffic and collided head on with [ vehicle 1.] Carla Stovall was pronounced deceased on scene by Hot Spring County Coroner.”

Two med flights were called to transport the injured to St. Vincent in Hot Springs and UAMS Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. A minor was riding in vehicle one with Stovall and her boyfriend Blake Albery.
