Martis Roger Nix Sr.
Mr. Martis Roger Nix Sr., 75, of Delaware, Arkansas, formerly of Russellville, departed this life on Wednesday, 25, 2023, at his residence. He was born January 10, 1948 in Fenter, Arkansas, to the late Martis G. Nix and Syble Scott.
Martis was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving time during the Vietnam War era, and was a member of the American Legion. He retired as a truck driver or heavy machine operator.
Martis loved to spend time woodworking, working of cars especially old Fords, tinkering with motorcycles, guns, and going fishing.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by; his wife, Pamela Nix; one daughter, Jayna Nix; two brothers, Tammy Nix, and Jacky Nix.
He is survived by; one son, Martis R. Nix Jr ( Marla) of Malvern, AR; two sisters, Linda Nix of Texas, Wonda Browning of Glen Rose, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Devon Nix ( Hannah) of Malvern, Sable Nix of Malvern; one great- grandchild, Nova Nix of Malvern; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at Emerson Funeral Home beginning at 12: 00 p. m. – 1: 30 p. m. Graveside services will begin at 2: 00 p. m. at Pine Log Cemetery.

Lisa Fitzhugh Erwin
Lisa Fitzhugh Erwin, 59, of Malvern passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at her home. She was born December 14, 1963, in Lincolnton, North Carolina, the daughter of Carroll Lynn and Bobbie
Little. Lisa worked as a medical assistant for Healthy Connections. She enjoyed cooking, going to the lake, swimming and fishing. She is preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Little Fitzhugh and stepfather, Jimmy Fitzhugh.
Survivors, father, Carroll Lynn of North Carolina; husband, Wally Erwin of Malvern; step- children, Michael Erwin and Carrie Mabry ( Justin); grandkids, Joseph, Audrey, Jackson and Jordan; sisters, Samantha Fitzhugh Henard and Candy Young ( Darwin), Teresa Frye and Trudy Lynn; brother, Doye Delacruz ( Sarah); nieces, Hope Henard, Josie Henard, Sadie Delacruz and Bethany Young; nephews, Colton Henard
( Katie), DJ Delacruz, Anthony Delacruz, Dallas
Delacruz, Eric Martinez, Josh Young ( Amanda) and Junior Adams ( Amber); great nieces and nephews, Austyn, EJ, Aleena, Easton, Cassidy, Chesnie, Jesse, Emery, Rosalee, Kiley, Hunter, Cannon, Grace and Zane.
